Is there a rental fee to hold a wedding ceremony at Atlantis? The ceremony fee for clients holding their wedding reception at Atlantis is $900 (plus applicable taxes) for set up and tear down.

There are two packages available to those wishing to host their own ceremony on site.
•  $900 Package includes use of space for up to one hour, and set up and tear down of chairs.
•  $1,700 Package includes use of space for up to one hour, set up and tear down of chairs, white carpet aisle runner, use of piano, pianist, bridal signing table and chair, and officiant to perform the ceremony.
*Officiant not included for rehearsal.

What is included with the ceremony fee? Atlantis provides the Ceremony Room with chairs, tables and any required linen for your ceremony.

How many guests can the Ceremony Room hold? The Ceremony Room can accommodate 250 guests.

How long do I have the Ceremony Room for? The ceremony time is one hour.

Can I provide my own music for the wedding ceremony? You may arrange to bring in singers and musicians. Please advise your Special Event Manager.

Can we bring our own Officiate to conduct the service? You are welcome to bring your own Officiate. Our preferred supplier is "Enduring Promises", please see the Atlantis Exclusive and Preferred Suppliers list for contact information.

Is the Ceremony Room wheelchair accessible? Yes, every space in Atlantis is wheelchair accessible with the exception of the Mezzanine area.

Will Atlantis set up my flowers in the Ceremony Room? It is your responsibility to arrange for the set up and removal of all flowers and other décor.

When do we discuss the final details for our function? 4-6 weeks prior to your wedding day we will call to arrange an appointment. Please allow at least one and a half (1.5) hours to discuss your menu/bar details, your event itinerary, as well as your floor plan.

What is the charge for linens? Atlantis provides complimentary white, champagne or latte floor-length tablecloths and matching white, champagne, latte or brown napkins. Specialty linens can be arranged directly via our recommended suppliers.

Do I have to give you a deposit to book a function room? A non-refundable deposit is required to book a function room. This is not a room rental charge. The deposit is applied to your final food and beverage bill.

What are the payment terms for my function? Full payment is due seven (7) business days prior to your wedding.

Can we put a room on hold until we make a decision? Unfortunately we are not able to put function rooms on a hold status, bookings are all on a first-come, first-served basis.

Who will be the contact from Atlantis on the day of our wedding? Your Operations Manager will introduce himself/herself when you arrive and will be your contact throughout your event. He/she will look after all the details of your function so you can relax and enjoy your day. Staff schedules are made the week prior to your wedding, at that time we will be able to confirm the Operations Manager assigned to you.

Do you have a safe place to keep envelopes received from our wedding guests? Each room includes a bridal suite, which you are given a key to, where typically gifts and envelopes are kept. If you would like security, Atlantis will provide security guards at a cost of $35 (plus applicable taxes) per hour per guard, with a minimum of two (2) guards. Please confirm whether you would like to hire security during your final details meeting.

How long does each course take to serve? Approximately 20-30 minutes per course.

How many servers per number of guests? One server is provided for every 16 guests. For a sit-down meal or a buffet, one server is provided for every 25 guests.

What meal arrangements does Atlantis provide for children? Children’s meals are available for children 12 years of age and under. Please ask your Special Event Manager for more details.

What alternative meals does Atlantis provide for people with allergies or for vegetarians? Our Chef can prepare any special meals to accommodate your guest’s dietary restrictions and allergies. This can be pre-arranged with your Special Event Manager.

Are candles allowed? Yes, candles are allowed. Please ensure that they are placed on something and not directly on the tablecloths. Atlantis provides complimentary tea lights for each event. No open flames are permitted.

Do you allow outside catering on premises? Atlantis must provide all catering with the exception of a wedding cake or special occasion cake that may be supplied by the client. Ask us about our South Asian, Kosher and Chinese menu packages.

Can we bring in our own wine or alcohol for our function? No, you may not bring any outside wine or alcohol into Atlantis.

Since we have a bar package, do we have unlimited alcohol and wine service for our guests? The concept for the Atlantis Bar Package allows for easy planning and budgeting for your wedding. You are given a list of items that are included in your bar package and these items are unlimited for a seven (7) hour time slot. That being said, in the spirit of being good hosts and ensuring your guests are responsible, we do not encourage an all-you-can-drink event. The bartenders at Atlantis are SMART SERVE certified. Accordingly they have authority to refuse service to any guest they believe has reached the point of intoxication.

With our bar package, can our guests request double shots of alcohol beverages? In the interest of liability to you as the host of your wedding function, as well as for Atlantis and its employees, we do NOT encourage excessive drinking of alcoholic beverages. As such, we do NOT allow double shots of alcohol to be poured.

Is there a time limit on our bar package? All Bar Packages are based on a seven (7) hour basis. If you would like to extend your event time beyond seven hours, additional charges will apply.

Can I extend the bar until 2:00 am? Arrangements to extend the bar hours to 2:00 am can be made with your Special Event Manager in advance of your wedding day. An additional fee is applicable.

What are the parking arrangements for Atlantis guests? Parking is available on site at a cost of $15 per car if paid by guests or $4 per adult if pre-paid by the event host. Parking lots are governed by Ontario Place and prices are subject to change.

What is the “SOCAN” fee? SOCAN is a tariff for playing pre-recorded or copyright music at an event. It is the obligation of the facility to collect this fee and submit to the Society of Composers, Authors and Musical Publishers of Canada.

How long is the glass tunnel that leads into Atlantis? The tunnel (bridge) is 300 feet long. Atlantis can provide complimentary shuttle service for guests who need assistance.
